"Running On Pure Oxgyen at 702 feet Below Sea Level"

With sand beneath my feet and the wind in my (grey) hair I was running on what seemed like pure oxygen. I looked at my niffty garmin watch and it read -702 feet, I was on the shores of the
Sea of Galilee. I cranked up my speed to a 7:30 pace for the next mile. My heart rate was just over 100 beats a minute and I was not winded the least bit. I wasn't walking on water but it felt like I was running on pure air.

Good Job Dad! That must have been awesome running below sea level. Next week I'll be running at 9,000 feet above sea level during Wasatch.

Now that is the kind of running I'm talking about. However, not being a runner like everyone else, I doubt I would have run it with such ease even at sea leve.
