Tel Jericho is where the Israelites conquest of the Holy Land took place--where the "walls came tumbling down."

It never rains in Jericho! That's what we told the students as we headed out to our Jericho field trip from Jerusalem where it was pouring down rain. Guess what? It was raining in Jericho! We were there at an historic moment--rain in Jericho!1
